Brand Identity Black Fashion Forever
Black Fashion Forever is inspired by the affirmative phrases of racial movements throughout the centuries, such as "black is beautiful," which transformed the self-esteem of Black individuals by valuing their phenotypic traits. The acronym BFF brings a fun aspect to the brand-community-movement, which, while focused on the struggle for visibility of Black creatives and talents in fashion, is a fight inspired by black joy, a joyful form of resistance.
Black Fashion Forever é inspirado pelas frases afirmativas dos movimentos raciais ao longo dos séculos, como "black is beautiful", que transformou a autoestima de pessoas negras ao valorizar seus traços fenotípicos. A sigla BFF adiciona um aspecto divertido à marca-comunidade-movimento, que, embora trate da luta por visibilidade de criativos e talentos negros na moda, é uma luta inspirada na black joy, uma forma alegre de resistência.
Concept
The visual identity was developed for the Afro-Brazilian fashion journalism market. The brand's graphics and colors incorporate elements that reflect the urban characteristics of Brazilian periferias.
A identidade visual foi desenvolvida para o mercado jornalístico de moda afro-brasileira. Nos grafismos e cores da marca, foram utilizados elementos que refletem as características urbanas das periferias brasileiras.
